Oftentimes a change or desire for change is what brings a client to coaching. Whether it is a career or job change, a change in relationship or loss of relationship or a physical move from one city to another. Coaching provides support when people are going through a difficult situation. Even when there is no change in mind, or any particular stressor, through coaching, clients can deepen their learning, improve their performance and enhance their quality of life. I use a developmental model emphasizing awareness so that clients choose the outcome that promotes their growth and wellbeing leading to a more fulfilling life.
Through inquiry we explore where clients want to place their energy and eventually work on goals to attain fulfillment or improve quality of life.
I believe we can all live a rich and fulfilling life but that it involves a willingness to promote change and growth which oftentimes can be difficult. There can be some pain in growing but with the right attitude, perspective and support, it can bring joy and happiness.

You’ve always been an independent person in charge of your own life.
But as you grow older, your ability to call the shots is shifting. You’re trying to find ways to stay active and involved, but times are different and the options and opportunities may feel limiting.
It may feel as though you’re holding on to a normalcy that is no longer recognizable. But there is a next act, if you know how to look for it.
Where is your life passion now? How can you determine the steps and identify the blocks to reaching your new life goals?
You’re on the verge of several major life transitions. Even though you’ve waited a long time for some of them and are excited, it’s really scary to go through so much adjustment. Now you’re left wondering what life will look like now your career is finished, your health may be changing and your family dynamic is transforming.

Coaching Case Study
(all names changed to protect client’s privacy)
Dina had just been through an unwanted divorce after 32 years of marriage. She had not enjoyed the therapy experience because she said she did not want to dwell on the past.
I worked with her to rediscover her strengths and what made her happy.
She knew that the last 10 years of her marriage were not happy ones and that she and her husband had grown apart. Nevertheless, her self esteem was low and she was feeling hopeless.
We worked on focusing on what made her happy and to tap into the parts of herself that gave her strength.
